This is a great company! They really took there time and explained every little thing to us. We would defiantly tell our friends too use this company. They really do know a lot about there job. Seeing the inside of my chimney was pretty cool. Can't say enough about how well they took care of us! GREAT JOB GUYS!

I hired this company to install a chimney flu liner at their recommendation because of a chimney fire I had. I have a woodstove inserted in the fireplace, and wished to have the stove remain in close approximation to where it has been all along, and the stove damper had to remain usable. I was told "No problem."



The work was completed in about 6 hrs, and they called my cell to let me know, as I was out. "Everything went smoothely" was what I was told. When I arrived home, the stove was quite crooked in the fireplace opening, and I discovered the stove damper was not reinstalled. I also discovered a large gap where the new liner was joined to the stove, which would allow smoke and ash to get into the stove blower which would blow it into the house.



I called, and they came back out in about a week, spent about 2 hours, and told me the damper was in and the gap at the top of the stove was sealed. I trusted them, but checked after they left. The gap was not fixed, and smoke did get in the house after I used the stove. Tired of poor workmanship and untruth, I decided I'd fix it myself.



It's now Spring, and I pulled the stove out of the fireplace to fix the smoke leak, and the new flu liner was not anchored to the flu or chimney, and is now sliding out of the chimney, hanging down in the fireplace opening. I discovered a top plate and clamp that were on my invoice that were never installed, which were supposed to anchor the liner and make the installation waterproof. I got this info from installation instructions I received from the manufacturer.



I believe this business should deliver what they promise, and not promise what they can't deliver. I believe honesty is paramount in dealing with customers, and that was lacking in my dealings with A Chimney Sweep. I would not recommend them to anyone.
