I have personally done business with Carpet South Design for over 6 years. 4 years ago my family moved to a home that needed major remodeling which included lots of new flooring. Carpet South installed all new carpeting and hardwood floors. Jim Johnson personally handled our project and made sure that I was comfortable with the stain color of the floors (personally bringing stain colors to the house) provided various options for carpeting, and clearly laid out what to expect as far as time frame to install, etc. His invoice was clearly broken out as to each charge so that I was aware of each element of cost. His installers were always on time and completed the job in the time frame promised. Jim has always been professional, courteous and approachable. If he was not able to take care of something personally, he made sure that another one of his capable staff were available to assist me.

I always appreciate how Jim is able to turn around a job for me very quickly and never seems to be too busy to help. I know when I call on him, I do not have to worry as the job will be taken care of. Being able to count on someone to do what they promise is a true blessing. I have recommended Jim Johnson and CSD for a number of years and will continue to do so in the future. As a matter of fact, Carpet South Design is installing carpet in a home for me next week!

I have used Carpet South Design on many of our additions and remodels. I have always been pleased with Jim Johnson and his crew, they do top quality work at very competative prices. Jim is very helpfull working with homeowners in selection of the proper carpeting or hardwood floors for the homeowners particular designs and needs. I will continue to use Carpet South Designs on my projects and encourage people looking for carpeting or hardwoods to call them for reliable, top quality work.

Carpet South installed the carpet in our church, It was installed by novice installers, who sadly did a terrible job, our church looks terrible,ie: seams are coming up, the carpet is stapled down in many places, cut and sectioned in others, they slung glue everywhere. They blamed it on us , saying we went with a cheap grade carpet, yet we took there advice on grade of carpet, using a commercial grade they recommended, I tried to call to talk to the owners, they would not allow that, So they sent out the original saleman, who again blamed it on us,

STAY AWAY FROM CARPET SOUTH, IF THEY WILL RIP OFF A CHURCH. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF
we are looking to take legal action! also we are contacting ACTION 9

Jim has a strong work ethic and fantastic crew to support his mission. We were a smaller residential job compared to some of the larger scale projects Jim takes on, but we received the same excellent service and attention. Our hardwoods and carpets were done while we were on vacation and we returned home to a fresh look! We trusted Jim and his staff with our home while we were away and came home fully satisfied. You can depend on him!

The Crew from Carpet South Design did an incredibly complicated hardwood job at my house. The job by design took around 2 months. This was one of the most knowledgeble and professional crews that I have ever delt with. They were always on time and the communication was professional and accurate. I would reccomend Carpet South Design with confidence.

I chose CSD to supply carpet and tile in my house and was absolutely satisfied with the quality, installation and most of all the cost. The staff at CSD were extremely helpful with the pre-design and educated me so I could make the right choices for my house. I have since recommended CSD to my family and friends and all are very happy with the product and work they received. I highly recommend CSD to anyone!

There is almost no claims that Stan Asher made in his review that are true. I will address them one by one.

First, Mr. Asher claims that the installers that came to install for him were installing for the first time. This is just completely untrue. The name of the installer is Moises. Moises did the complete install for Chima Restaurant downtown, (4) four QDoba Restaurants, and RuSan Restaurant just to name a few. Moises is a well seasoned installer. Mr. Asher knows that the issues that he had with the carpet were a manufacturers issue, and that the manufacturer confirmed that fact and paid for the reinstall. Second, Mr. Asher claims that we used staples to tack the carpet down the carpet. The truth is that we only used staples to secure carpet on the steps. This is the accepted method to install carpet on steps. Third, Mr. Asher claims that we recommended this carpet to him. Mr. Asher knows that this is a complete distortion of the truth. When we were introduced to Mr. Asher, he had already gotten a bid from another company for $6,000.00 to do the same job and he presented us with the carpet that the other company had given him. We got the exact same carpet and presented him with the color pallet to choose his color, and to choose the particular quality of carpet as this carpet comes in (3) three quality levels, Base, 20oz and 26oz. Based on price, Mr. Asher chose the 20oz carpet. We never recommended this carpet nor would we. This carpet is made to be installed with no seams and in very low traffic areas. We attempted to get Mr. Asher to get a higher quality carpet and he personally refused based on cost. We installed this carpet for $4300.00...the same job that the other company had quoted $6000.00. We did this job at our cost (and eventual loss) because we do ongoing business with someone from his congregation. Mr. Asher signed off on the job when we were finished and was completely aware of the customary (1) one year warranty. I personally spoke with Stan on 4 different occasions. His assertions that my employees shielded me from him is completely untrue.



In addition, we have even offered to apply the entire cost of this job to redo the job with an appropriate carpet. Carpet South is a 15+ year old company with a extensive experience in the commercial flooring and residential flooring arena. We are now and have always been willing to work with Mr. Asher with in reason. Our offer to apply that money to a new job with the appropriate carpet stands.

We just had all of the flooring replaced in our house by Carpet Design South and this was the best experiance with a flooring company that we have ever had!!! Jim and his staff provided a level of service that was over the top. Jim personally came out to our house on the morning of the install to make sure everything was on schedule and to our satifaction. His crew came in before the scheduled time and was completed, cleaned up perfectley by 5:00 as promised. Then later that evening Jim called to make sure we were happy with our experiance. I recommend Jim and his professional staff to anyone who is looking for new flooring. They provided a service that was both cost effective and above our expectations!!!
