i went to Aabies located on Ea...

i went to Aabies located on Eastway for "Flatwist's". I pointed to a picture on the wall and requested for my hair to be done just like it. About 25% percent into the style i noticed that my hair was not like the picture and i told the stylist. She tryed to convence me that my hair would turn out just like the picture hanging beside the television on the wall right infront of us. After i proved her wrong and politely made it clear that i would not be leaving out of Aabies with a cone sticking out of the top of my head when it's suppose to be a bun, she started snatching my hair a loose and refuse to do it anymore. That same stylist ensured me that someone else would do my hair. After two hours of waiting i asked to speak with the ower. Mrs. Aabies (the owner) requested me to go to another one of her locations (located on N. Tryon) were someone was there to do my hair. I waited there for one hour and knowone would talk to me, they just kept telling me to have a seat. Knowone came to look at my hair and knowone would tell me who was assigned to do me hair. After 1 1/2 hours i realized the lady who started on my hair at the other location had to call this location and "blackball" me, b/c everyone had an attitude for know reason. I called Mrs. Aabies twice from my cellular phone and left messages but she didn't answer or returnb my calls. So I left!

The most unprofessional people....

I went to Aabies but first I called and they assured me they knew how to re-do dreads. Lets just say they don't really know how to do it, and when I tried explaining to the stylist how I wanted it done, she got mad and asked me for payment with most of my head undone. I refused and told her she needs to finish the job b4 she gets paid. They are very impolite and just seemed plain uncivilized with all that talking in their language when they get mad at you. They dont take direction and beacause they are only a handful of hair braiding places, they dont seem to worry about loosing customers. dont go to that dreadful place.

Great Experience

I heard about Aabies hair braiding from a friend and decided to give it a try. My friend also told me about Tuesday special coupon. Though i forgot to get the coupon printed; I called the aabies customer service and told her that i dint get the coupon but she was very nice to me and sent a coupon printed to the shop.

The moment i entered the shop, the braider greeted me and i felt comfortable.

I was glad to see that they had the style i was looking for. She proceeded to give me an amazing haircut. The braider was very quick in doing her best job. Its one of my best hair cut as of now.

Excellent Service ....

" I got my hair done at Aabies about a week ago and I have to say that this is the best hair job I have ever gotten. I have so many complements already.

I always used to go to other braiding shops and I can say that they were just okay. But Aabies gave an excellent & amazing service. The shop is beautiful and their service is great. They make you feel so comfortable, like you are at home & their prices are affordable. I would recommend Aabies hair braiding to everyone ".
