Desert Star Dance has become our 2nd family! My daughter has been dancing there since she was 3 and she is almost 11. The self confidence she has gained in herself thanks to Desert Star is irreplaceable! She has learned discipline, technique and most of all self-respect! The director and all of the teachers are absolutely wonderful, thus, the reason they have all been there since my daughter has! I would recommend Desert Star Dance to ANYONE! ANYTIME!! It is our home....our family! By the way we have never had any problems with it being next to a "bar"!

My girls have attended dsd the last two years. This dance studio has had such a great impact on thier lives and character, not only as dancers but growing people as well. The instructors are fun, and supportive and teach technique while implimenting the art of dance. This studio is great for anyone who wants to learn, dance, and grow. Class room sizes vary depending the level and genre on dance. overcrowding has never been an issue with any of my girls' classes. Thanks desert star dance for making it easy to choose a studio for my family.

Desert Star prides itself in being a balanced fun place for kids. The instructors are caring and loving. They provide quality instruction without the harshness of some places It's great for beginners and advanced students alike. My children were teenagers and they loved it at Desert Star.

Our daughter has been taking dance classes at Desert Star for the last 4 1/2 years, starting when she was 4 years old. She has been given incredible instruction from amazing instructors in class sizes that are perfect for her to receive the individual attention that children need. The staff is amazing, attentive and truly care about the whole child. Music and costume selections that are age-appropriate is so refreshing and appreciated by this parent and the many others that travel great distances to bring their children here. We wouldn't take our daughter anywhere else!!

I've been dancing at Desert Star since it opened and it is honestly my home away from home. Being next to a bar doesn't have any effect on my dancing whatsoever. I park my car, go inside the studio, take class, and leave the same way I came in. If the bar people cause problems the studio simply calls the authorities or there are always dads around or parents that will make sure it never happens again. It's a fun environment and with the low costs compared to other studios, I wouldn't go anywhere else! We're a big family!:)

Not a great place to take your child if there just starting to learn. I spoke with the director a few days before i brought my 3 year old there to learn ballet. She had never been in a class before, the director told me the class wasn't very big and it would be good for her to learn. The first class was small but the next two classes we attended there was 20 to 30 girls in there, and they've all been doing it a lot longer than my child. With only two instructors and on of them being a teenager, there is no way you can physically attend to everyones needs of LEARNING. Also the teachers are very strict which is good to a degree, but it should also be fun and i didn't see anything fun about this. The first thing my child told me after her class when we got home was," i like dancing but one of the teachers are mean so i don;t want to go back there". I did experience an attitude with the one she was talking about she was rude to me also. also theres a bar right next door "classy'

Amazing studio!! My daughters have been dancing for over 13 years, and we have been to 4 other dance studios in the East Valley. I have been at Desert Star Dance for the last 4 years and would never go anywhere else! I'm proud to call Desert Star Dance home! The studio has great teachers, staff and dance programs!!

Desert Star Dance has been my second home for over 8 years now! I've learned so much and gained friendships that I know will last foever! We have so much fun dancing and being together. Desert Star dancers are my family and I couldn't ask for a better place to dance!

Both my daughters attend Desert Star Dance and have been for years. It is our second home and family. The teachers and staff are professional and friendly and their recitals are top notch!! I would highly recommend this studio.

My daughter is new to Desert Star Dance and loves everything about it! The teachers are wonderful and provide lots of feedback and the dancers are obviously well trained. The office staff is so helpful and the other "dance moms" are friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this studio!!

My daughter is dancer and we've tried several studios in the East Valley. Desert Star is by far the best studio in AZ. The instructors are extremely talented and help each student achieve their goals. My daughter literally is inspired by each and every person at the studio. Another important part of the studio are the kids taking classes. They are all friendly, accepting and supportive of each other. The opportunities are endless!

Great Studio, Professional Teachers, you feel like you are part of a Family. Everyone is so frendily.
