Clements Insurance Services was founded by Richie Clements, who now serves as president of the company. After many years of experience in the insurance industry, Richie was working with Prudential Insurance Co. and getting many requests for coverages that Prudential did not handle. In addition, his business had grown too big to be handled alone.
As a solution to managing his success in the industry as well as a means of acquiring coverages requested by his many clients, Richie co-founded Eslava & Clements, Inc. in 1978 as a full lines independent insurance agency. Eslava & Clements, Inc. grew to become one of the largest insurance agencies in St. Bernard Parish and the Metropolitan New Orleans Area.
Following the devastation by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 to St. Bernard Parish and the New Orleans area, Richie founded Clements Insurance Services in order to serve his many clients directly and more effectively. In May of 2006 Clements Insurance opened their doors in St. Bernard at the current location, 206 W. Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette, Louisiana. The staff continues to serve the residents of St. Bernard Parish as well as the entire New Orleans Metropolitan Area.
