I must admit to being a bit spoiled having lived in Japan for a while and working for a Japanese company. Kazu is an excellent sushi restaurant with excellent service and a top notch sushi chefs behind the counter. You wont be disappointed!

Very Classy place, very authentic, best Chirashi in Denver!

The place is owned by a Japanese cook, who cooks sushi himself day and night. Sushi are incredible. No matter how much you order it simply disappears in minutes. Just right proportion between fish and rice! And fish is so much fresher then in most of other Sushi Places. The best days - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (days when they buy fresh fish). Happy hour is from 17.00 to 18.30 - and this is the best time to go (less people, better service) Never go there Sunday (or at any other sushi place in a matter of fact). Service ingeneral is so-so, but who cares about service if sushi are so delicious.
