DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!! Beth is a horrible owner!! Extremely poor customer service. I called Beth 6 times (at least) left messages for her to call and she never did call me. I had an appointment (I even had a card with my appointment time and date form my previous appointment) and they wouldn't see me at my appointed time! Instead, they lied about when my appointment was and said, "My appointment isn't until 1:45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. They said I could wait or come back. I called Beth to talk about why they changed my appointment and didn't bother to tell me. Of course, Beth wouldn't talk to me!!!

What a blessing! Beth cured my cystic acne!

Hi! I am more than happy to say that Beth, the owner, and her team of wonderful techs have changed my life! I came to Beth as a second to last resort to Acutane after suffering from cystic acne since I was 14...about 9 years. I had tried every light treatment, cosmetic chemical peels (ouch!), cream, antibiotic, and over the counter product ever made besides Acutane. My self esteem was in the gutter...to the point where I couldn't even make eye contact with people. Beth and her crew used the smoothbeam laser, and although I am not finished with my treatments, I am almost completely clear with no scars! Plus, I have not had a cyst form since my 3rd treatment! Beth is so personable and her team of techs are so nice, and I would not recommend anyone or anywhere else! I think only a handful of places have this cutting edge laser...but Beth's smooth skin care center is the place to go. If you are ready to change your life and cure your acne, give her a call! I wish I had found her sooner...for a total price of 900 dollars, I was given my confidence back. I hope to spread the word about this cure for acne and scarring because no one deserves nor has to live with this skin problem ever again! What a blessing! Thank you Beth!

I agree with everything the other reviewers said plus here are my experiences.



You get what you pay for! This place is cheap which is why I kept going back. After a while though the laser seemed to not work anymore. Then I started getting nasty emails from the owner saying I owed money from 9 months ago. Which I didn't I showed them my bank statements and they said I was all paid up. But the owner kept emailing me. Plus I had purchased services in the mean time so why was this not brought up sooner? I think they are trying to run a scam and get as much money as possible. Also every time I came in a saw a different person as they have a really high turnover. Oh and how could I forget the shady guy at the front desk the first time I came in that told me they were going to take photos, yikes! So again you get what you pay for steer clear of this place!

I am not going to waste too mu...

I am not going to waste too much of my or your time, but I wanted to let you know how I was treated today. Today is Wednesday, Dec 19 and it is snowing in the Denver area. I had an appointment scheduled at 12:15 and I called around 11:00 to tell them I was on I-25 and had seen 4 different accidents. I no longer felt safe driving on the roads and wanted to reschedule. Aisha (spelling?), the receptionist, kindly told me I would lose the money I had paid for my appointment, but I could buy it back. I really don’t even understand that still, but there you go. I asked to speak with Beth, the owner (she had treated me before and seemed like a reasonable person). I was on hold for 18 minutes before Pat picked up the line. I explained to him my situation and he told me he wished he could help me but the policy is that if I don’t cancel within 18 hours I lose my money. I told him I thought he was setting finances above the well-being of the clients, and again tried to have him waive the policy due to the weather. He agreed the roads were bad and told me he had seen 3 people slide off the road when he went to the bank earlier in the morning. He then told me many others had called in asking to reschedule their appointments. I told him I thought it was bad customer service and really felt he had the ability to help the situacion if he wanted to. He stuck to the policy. I asked again to speak with Beth since she is the owner. There was no yelling, although Pat and I weren’t making any headway either. Pat hung up on me. I called back again to Aisha and asked her to pass the message to Beth that I really wanted a call back as soon as possible. I told them I was going to be there at my appointment time to see someone in person and that I was going to spread the word about my treatment. Needless to say, after giving it an ounce of thought, I’m not putting my safety or my car in danger for a measly appointment. I’ll finish off my two more treatments in my package and continue to let others know that Beth, Pat and Smooth Skin Centers don’t have a lick of customer service. All of this, on top of the other slight experiences during my previous package deals… 1) I found out by surprise they “no longer used or provided ice”. Are you kidding? They couldn’t have texted me or sent an email before the appointment when they made the change? That one happened in late summer. 2) I purchased 2 laser spider vein treatments. The first treatment gave me 2 skin markings about the size of a dime so I didn’t want to continue to the second treatment. They didn’t let me apply the difference of money to a different package either. I should have known after those 2 things that these people are cheap and only care about the money coming in. Not the results, not the client. I’m going back to Natalie at Bloom Med Spa. She is more expensive, but at least I’ll get the results I want. I guess its true; you get what you pay for. Oh, and by the way…1:05 pm and still no call from Beth.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I went to Smooth Skin Centers because I bought a Groupon package at what seemed like a good price. My first impression was not a good one. The Groupon agreement said they recommend numbing cream for the procedure but that it was not required. But, when I got there, I was told I had to buy their numbing cream at $50. or I could not have the procedure done. The office was very messy and unprofessional. Although the staff were friendly, they were a motley crew, dressed in jeans and they were different every time I went in. Then, to top it off, I was having laser hair removal on my upper lip and the technician reminded me to keep my tongue between my lip and teeth as she didn't want to hit one of my teeth. Later that evening I discovered one of my porcelain crowns was severely cracked right at the spot where she had said to be sure to keep my tongue in place. Although it can't be proven, I am certain the laser is what cracked my $3000 crown as I had just seen my dentist the day before for a routine exam. I have been trying to reach the office manager for weeks to no avail. I am just about ready to call my lawyer to resolve the matter. I would be happy to accept the remainder of the money from the package I purchased but I can't get anyone to respond to my request for a resolution. I think I'm being very reasonable. I used to be an office manager in a plastic surgery practice and I would never allow my office to be managed this way or to make the first impression it makes to new clients. Be forewarned.

While the staff are very frien...

While the staff are very friendly, the center is not professional or medical. For laser hair removal, you are taken into one of two cubicles- yes, cubicles. There is a space at the top of the wall, so that other patients can hear you while getting lasered next door. The old medical chairs are quite rickety, and almost tip over when you sit on them. They use old towels to cover the chairs. The staff are dressed in jeans and t-shirts. The good thing is that their lasers hurt slightly less than other centers I've gone to, and do seem to work.
