Worst customer service I have ever had. Had an appointment 5/31/14 and they never called to tell me the technician would not be coming. Rescheduled for today 6/7/14. Said someone was at my house for 40 mins waiting but they never were there. Total BS! You will never get money from me or anyone I know. I don't even want to give you a star because you deserve nothing. I hope you go out of business

When Neighborhood Kids Broke Water Pipes

When my neighborhood kids were playing outside my house, their football hit a few pipes in my house. A few of them broke and water started leaking and flowing all over the place. I immediately switched off the supply but wondered what to do next. Meanwhile, a teenager entered my house to collect the football but he also suggested me to call up a Denver plumber to fix the pipes. After my call, I was amazed to see a couple of technicians coming from Plumbline services to attend the problem. Within two hours, everything was fixed and things were back to normal. Their perfection and quick service really impressed me because if they didn’t come on time, I would’ve hesitated to switch on the water supply for days together. Then I realized that it would be better to save the phone number of a good Denver plumbing company so that such instances will not trouble me anymore.

Horrible experience!!

First off, we were originally quoted $99 to have our lines roto-rooter'd. When the technician arrived, he wasn't able to get his machine into our basement and said he had to go get a smaller machine. Three hours later he came back with it but said it was actually going to cost $260. If we would've known that ahead of time we would have just called a different company.

Unfortunately we got the bad news that we need our sewer line replaced. The technician said he'd get back to us with a quote and we set up an appointment to go over it and talk about the plan of action. He didn't show up for that appointment and several phone calls went un-returned.

Our sewer started backing up again this weekend, so we called Plumbline to see if we could get it roto-rooter'd again to buy us some time. We explained the above mentioned situation to the receptionist, telling her about the price difference and that we have been trying to get a hold of our technician without luck. She said they could come out to roto-root our lines again and cover it under the warranty for all the trouble we've had with them. We set up an appointment window between 2-4.

After re-arranging our work schedules to be home for the appointment window, 4pm rolls around and no technician. We called and they said that the appointment was put on hold because they left us a message saying they wouldn't cover it under the warranty. When we asked to talk to a manager they said there weren't any in the office and we would have to leave a message.

Now it's 5pm on a Saturday and we don't have a sewer system.

You can bet we wont be using these guys to replace our sewer lines (a $7-10k job!)".

Don't use Plumbline, there are plenty of other companies who have a sense of customer service and stand by their word.

I had a water heater that ruptured. I called at 7:00 a.m. and they had Kevin show up during the promised 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. window. He found the problem in a faulty water pressure regulator, and did a thorough examination of all my water fixtures to assure there was no hidden damage elsewhere. He made a straight-forward recommendation, explaining each point. He gave me a number of options and the cost, without giving any pressure for any decisions. He did show me the benefits of their Capital Asset Protection (CAP) Program, which is an annual maintenance program for my home. As I hadn't had my home thoroughly inspected, or general preventative maintenance checks performed on my major home utilities for a number of years, Kevin saved me a large amount of money on these things I needed anyway, and by packaging all these things together, I feel I was treated fairly. Kevin was very friendly, yet professional. My home is my biggest investment, and because I'm not that "handy" to examine these utilities to prevent major problems, the investment in the prevention area seems wise, and having someone with the expertise like Kevin makes me feel protected against the calamities I don't want to have surprise me. Yes, this costs some money; I wont' say the bottom $ cost wasn't pretty, but I can't afford a flood, a fire, and my family really enjoys continuous hot water and a comfortable home environment without sudden interruptions for long periods of time. So, the bottom line is this: Paying for good equipment to prevent unexpected failures and paying for professionals to inspect and service that equipment will prevent the type of calamities where your home owners insurance policy is activated - and who wants that?

Im really happy with my experi...

Im really happy with my experience with Plumbline! It was a positive experience from calling the company until the best service technician, Billy Wright left my house. Billy Wright provided the best service I could image and explained everything along the way! My wife came home with a car load of grocieries and even offered and help bring in grocieries! You just dont find service like that these days!

Excellent and Quick Service

My forced air heater quit working, so I started calling all the major companies at roughly 6:30 PM on a weeknight. Plumbline was first, and the customer rep I talked to (Amy) was polite and helpful, and was upfront about pricing options and time slots available. She didn't need anything more from me than my general area of town where I was located. I was shopping at the time, so I made note of Plumbline's rates and availability and called a few other places. Well, all the other places seemed to want my whole life's history before they would even begin to talk price. Sorry, you don't need my address and full name to tell me how much it costs for a tech to appear. Needless to say, I called Plumbline back, and Amy had a tech out to my house in very short order. The tech (Jimmy) was pleasant, presentable, had a good attitude and had me up and running in no time at all. The fix ended up being simple. My first and only call next time will be to Plumbline. A VERY positive experience!

Plumber from Virginia

The complaints from these customers are with out merit. Read them carefully and I think you'll agree that most of the complaints are warrantless price complaints. Di that customer really get a plumber to his house to install an O-ring for $10. I don't know who is the more clueless--that customer or the $10 plumberIts a crazy world out there

Plumbline Services engages in fraudulent business practices

We called them to come fix our hot water heater. The technician gave my husband a quote of $3600 for the heater and he asked what part of that was the heater and what labor. The guy said the heater was worth $2500 (he thought) but only his manager knew for sure and he wasn't available. After the work was done and paid for, the manager told us the heater was only worth $800. So they had a 500% markup on the parts plus labor!!! Complete bait and switch and lies. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Overcharged and unnecessary work

I had a leaking backflow valve to my sprinkler system and called Plumbline to fix it. They arrived quickly and professionally, but then gave me a quote of $650 to replace the valve with only a glance at it. I called another plumber for a second opinion, and he came out, opened the valve and replaced an o-ring. Problem was fixed for $10, instead of $650. I was extremely glad that I got a second opinion, and I will never call Plumbline again.

Pricy Service

I think that service was very professional and quick. However, this came at the price that I found later to be too high for services rendered. Service technician replaced my gas control valve in 15 minutes (on water heater) for $450. I looked up the part online and it the average cost is $150. I can't believe that I was charged $300 for 15 minutes of labor. He also suggested changing the pipe for another $450!? In the end he thought that it may be a better idea to replace the entire heater for $1600. I would strongly suggest that you explore your options before calling this company.

Great work

Would use again

Prompt and thorough

Although we called on only a drippy fauces repair the service man did more than just fix a faucet. He found the root of the problem which was a higher-than-suggested p.s.i (house water pressure). He adjusted the valve and then asked if he could check the rest of the potential problem fixtures in the house. He found nothing else wrong, offered a service contract with no sales pressure, and was on his way. The pricing was not cheap, but I have yet to meet a licensed plumber from a reputable company that was. I felt a received fair, prompt, and thorough service at a good market price. I will use Plumbline again and recommend them to my friends.

Beware of overpricing

I had these guys come out to look at a broken backflow valve. He was unable to get parts for the old one in a reasonable time frame..So he quoted me $815...to replace the old one...I went to the exact same plumbing supply house that he went to and bought the part for $327...This wasnt even in a building just had to attach it to my Hydrant meter...took me 15 minutes to install. I still had to pay $132 for a trip charge and trip to the supply house. The trip charge I understand...but $95 for a guy to run to the supply house and return with nothing...took 20 min for me to get there and purchase the B/F valve and get it back to my jobsite..So just beware of being ripped off
