Provided by YP.comFirst off what a very very very KID friendly campground. I took my 5 year old and 2 year old and they always had something to do. We went there over Memorial Weekend and wouldnt hesitate to go back. While we were there, Sunday night they had "Horse Races" in the rec hall. My family (mostly me) :) had a ton of fun playing that game. All the campers were into it. The only down side I didnt enjoy about it, is I love to fish and fished in the mornings and nights while there and didnt catch one fish. Not a very good fishing lake. I think the whole weekend we were there. 2 people caught a bass, and thats it!!! Also very clean showers, prolly the cleanest I have ever seen at a campground. Overall I would def go back!!

Provided by YP.comThis summer will be our 5th season camping at Lakeside. My whole family looks foreward to or week-end getaways there. It is so nice to have a break from our weekly grind and only have to drive less then a half hour to get there. It has a nice little lake with a sandy beach that the kids love and I like the fishing. We have become freinds with other seasonal families that have been there for years also. I would recomend this campground to anyone that wanted to go camping.

Provided by YP.comThis campground is a very clean and friendly park. My kids and I spent a week there last summer and had a great time. My husband works in Grand Rapids so he went to work from there during the week while we stayed at the campground. This worked out so well I just booked a week for this summer.
P.S. This place has the cleanest Showers/Bathrooms I have ever used at any campground.

Provided by YP.comI stayed here over the 4th of July with my family and was not very happy. We were on a small site next to the expressway, the noise from the traffic was always bad and kept waking up the kids, making it impossible to enjoy ourself. Might be a place to stay at if you are hard of hearing.

Provided by YP.comThis is a very nice, comfortable, down home atmosphere here. I have gone here for at least 25 to 30 years now.
The fishing is great for bass in June, also trout, catfish, panfish all summer. It is stocked regularly.
It is close to town for groceries.or restaurants. I have enjoyed it, it is pretty quiet, not roudy. A nice place to camp.
