I took my car in to get my windshield replaced from some storm damage. My windshield was replaced in a timely manner. However, when they were replacing the windshield they damaged part of the body of my car where the wiper attaches. They never told me about the damage and I only discovered it when I was driving in the rain and tried using my wipers. I then took my car back into their shop and 2 techs told me their manager would call me the following Monday and set up an appt at a body shop to repair the damage. The manager never called so the following Tuesday I called him and he requested I come back into the shop so he could assess the damage. So I went back to the shop for a 3rd time. He then said they would repair it on site, but couldn't tell me when. So I called Customer Service and they were very helpful. Almost instantly the manager called and set me up for an appt the following day. I then took for car back in for the 4th time so they could repair the damage. Finally after 5 hours I called them to see when my car would be done. At that point they told me the wiper motor was broke and wipers were going all over the place. When I dropped my car off the wiper motor was fine and windshield wipers were not going all over the place. The manager told me the damage was not their fault. I'm in the process of filing a claim in court. Moral of the story..stay away from the 8th Ave location in CR as the Manager, Roger, is very unprofessional. The company overall though was very helpful.
