Friendly and Caring Staff

My 13 year old blue heeler started to have seizures late one Saturday night. I took her to the clinic and the staff was incredibly friendly and kind to both her and me. We ended up putting Heidi down and I could not have been more impressed with the staff. Their sympathy was touching and genuine.Yes, it is expensive. But the overhead of running an emergency clinic is expensive too. I had no problem with the $89 emergency fee what so ever.

STAY AWAY! I LOVED MY DOG AND SHE IS NOW DEAD DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS

this place stinks!!. they scrape you out of thousands of dollars in one week and then your dog dies because of the doctors' views on the drug Prednisone. The drug that ends up killing your animal. don't let your pet stay on this drug like they recommend. And don't vaccinate your pet yearly this kills animals. do your research. vaccinate only every 7 years if even that. Take your pet to Iowa State if you can. Plus they likely have a sliding fee scale. This place wants half of the costs up front. I had one dog one night, nearly one thousand dollars. and another over $5000 in 5 days.they didn't do much for them at all. they lied to me about the tests performed as well as other things. take your pet to a holistic clinic if possible. B12 shots at an acupuncturist, good for many problems. Don't let these doctors keep your already sick animal on harsh drugs long term. my dog is dead now and she was young. they will manipulate you and make you believe they care. after i was taken for over $12,000 and broke; not only would they not see my pet without more money up front, but she died from their bad advice of keeping her on Prednisone, they said she needed it for life, it ended up causing lesions which cut off her blood supply, it caused her to get diabetes and painfully and quickly lose her life to muscle wasting. My family is so grieve stricken. i will never take another pet to them. and both of my dogs illnesses were brought on just weeks after repeated yearly vaccinations, which screw up our animals' immune systems. that is why our animals are always sick anymore. it is a money making industry. research all of this and you will find the answer. Your other bet is to look up Chinese medicine for symptoms. Oh also, one of the female doctors was annoyed because i was crying on the phone and she said for me "how many blood transfusions are you gonna give your dog before you just have to face the fact she will probably die'..she had one transfusion. Non empathetic from that woman, and one of the doctors just lied to me and gave me false information. I should have went with my gut instinct and taking my baby off the drugs they wanted me to keep her on and then looked into b12 shots or Chinese herbs.

BEST Emergency Vet

Great friendly staff. Never asked us for money up front. Ultra Sound for our cat cost much less than you would have to pay at a hospital for humans. They figured out what was wrong with our dog, when our regular vet couldn't.Easy to schedule appointments. Very caring staff.

The WORST Vet Clinic In Existence

This place is in it for the money. Period. They don't give a rats butt about the pets. They offer services at inflated prices, gouging people who have little choice but to pay the fees. They charge an "emergency consult fee"...as if they had to do something they don't always do or call someone in, which of course they don't.If you have a lot of money to spend and don't mind that they don't care about your furry family member, the sure...go ahead and give them your money, but you will hate every minute of the experience.

IF YOUR NOT RICH DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, THE STAFF LIES TO KEEP YOUR ANIMAL THERE

AT FIRST I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GREAT PLACE, BUT WHEN THEY REALIZED THAT I DID NOT HAVE 12,000.00 TO HAD THEM STRAIGHT OVER, AFTER PAYING THEM A DOWN PAYMENT IF 6,500.00 THEN THEY SENT MY BELOVED FRIEND AWAY AND TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT COUNTINE TREATMENT WITH OUT MORE PAYMENT UPFRONT, SO NOW I AM STUCK WITH MY SICK LEADER DOG HERE AT HOME WITH A OPEN WOUND, AND THERE SO CALLED LOVE FOR AMINALS REALLY SHOWS WHEN THEY TELL US TO LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK FOR WE HAD NO MORE MONEY TO GIVE THEM UP FRONT. NOW IF THAT WERE A HUMAN AT A REGULAR HOSPITAL WE WOULD NOT BE REFUSED SO WHY IS IT THAT ANIMALS THAT SAVE LIVES EVERY DAY GET TREATED THIS WAY.

MONEY!!!

These people are all about money NOT the animals!! I asked the vet if we could make payarrangements or work out something when my puppy got sick and they said they would keep her over night but i had to have $400.00 in hand before they would and hours later my dog is dead!! They charged us $200.00 dollars and then wouldn't do any more because we didn't have 4400.00 MORE! When I first called to ask them if they would see my puppy they said only if I had $89.00 they would!!
