Red Rover Retreat was opened on March 22, 2014. We bought the assets of "The Paw Spa of Cedar City " These are the reviews of the Paw Spa and NOT Red Rover. Our google plus page got linked to the Paw Spa without our knowledge or approval. Please keep this in mind as you read these reviews. Thanks.

My last dog went to day care 2x a week for 3 years before she had to be put down. She loved Gary and the rest of the staff and would run to the garage door when asked if she wanted to go to doggie day care. I now have a 4 month old pup who will be going to Paw Spa starting in Sept.The place is very clean, also.

Very helpful in a time of extreme need. My cat and dog did great there. They took good care of them.

Most of my employees leave gracefully and on good terms. Some leave on under less than favorable circumstances, on bad terms and they are disgruntled. You can read a previous review and make you own determination. We also encourage anyone to tour out facility at any time no appointment necessary. We are proud of the facility and welcome any visitors at any time.

The owner will lie to your face and will instruct his employees to do so as well. There have been multiple occasions where dogs have been injured and the owner has covered up the real reasons to avoid being liable for cost of vet bills. He has 120 lb German Shepherd who is very aggressive and has caused multiple injuries to several different dogs. Dogs have DIED at this facility has a direct result of employee negligence. And Gary, the owner, lied about the circumstances surrounding the deaths. The customers were still held responsible for any charges incurred while their dogs were there. When the customers requested footage of the incidents leading to their dogs deaths or injuries, the owner filtered through the footage and only provided what he thought would back up his stories and intentionally held back any footage showing the actual incident.



I am privy to this knowledge because I regularly visited the facility because I am good friends with a former employee who worked there for years. She was forced to quit her job by the owner's and other employees' cruel, targeted actions toward her. I feel that it is important that this information is made public to prevent any further loss or injury of someone's beloved pet(s).



DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!

They were so helpful and friendly when I dropped off my cats. It was a last minutes decision, and they were so nice when I brought them in. The girls were great. I would definitely recommend them to friends. And their rates aren't that bad.
