We purchased a 2008 GMC Acadia from Crossroad Motors. Within five months and 2100 miles it needed a new transmission. Their response was there was no way they could know about it.

Their listing on autotrader says "Crossroad Motors takes pride in providing quality vehicles for you and your family at affordable prices." I guess quality means you're going to need a new transmission soon and affordable mean $19000 plus the cost of a new transmission.

After basically being told to get over it since it's not their problem now, I discovered the sunroof is leaking, and the air conditioner condenser drain was clogged and leaking into the blower motor housing. Turns out that sound we heard when turning left was the blower motor after being submerged for god knows how long.

And in case you were wondering, I was told a mechanic inspects each vehicle. Seems like a mechanic would be able to see such obvious problems. But hey, I'm the sucker that bought the car from them so maybe I'm biased.
