The Gateway School is an individual school district and enrolls more than 100 students. The school offers an extensive curriculum that includes reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, physical education, social skills, science, computers, health and music. Its life skills program focuses on to develop functional reading, telling time, using money, conversational skills, self-care and leisure activities. The school serves children, adolescents and young adults from ages of 5 to 21 years old. It also has a parent involvement group that strengthens the parent-school relationship to promote children s academic, emotional and social development.
