Provided by YP.comWhile doing complete remodeling of our kitchen and bath, we had two different company representatives on our job. Both were terminated before conclusion of the job. We had quotes with "NOT TO EXCEED" pricing for tile and other materials. Both SW Interior representatives told us, on more than one occassion, that SW would buy the tile at wholesale and we would pay the retail price of the tile. The "not to exceed" pricing was to give us a target cost for the complete job. When the job was nearing completion, we were charged the full "not to exceed' cost of the bathroom tile. We brought this to the attention of our SW representative and he said he would get it corrected to the $2.00/foot lower retail cost of the tile we had used. We attempted to get this done twice, and then the representative was "no longer employed by SW."
The GM refused to honor the committment and we were forced to pay almost $1000 dollars over the true cost of materials used on our project.
The worker for SW that did the bathroom electrical must not be a trained electrician. One light switch/outlet combination circuit was incorrectly wired and would trip the breaker. The GFI outlet in the bath failed a few months later. It was also incorrectly installed with one side of the load connected to on side of the line circuit in the GFI.
This company has a real problem with business ethics.
