I was at this location on Wednesday (6/16) and heard a commotion in the cooking area. One of the food preparers had dropped a piece of chicken on the floor and then picked it up and placed it in the fryer. I was getting ready to leave and not complete my order when the cashier told me it would be a while before my order was ready since they had shut the fryer down and were draining the oil and cleaning the fryer to put fresh oil in. I then heard a woman screaming at the man that was having this done - mad that it was costing too much time and money to change this out - that the hot oil would have sanitized the chicken. She then fired this man!! I've always loved Zaxby's, but if this is the way the food is handled I will not be eating Zaxby's any more. I'm afraid to go to any Zaxby's location now for fear they all do this. Chicken is one of the most dangerous foods, as far as diseases go!
