The owners are prejudice and cruel. My 11 year old son came in for a costume for a school project as a union soldier. The shop helper had him dressed completely. He was so excited looking at himself in the mirror. He said he was going to have the best project! I told him how handsome he was. The shop owner named Pansy Folds walked over and stared long enough to hear our conversation. Then looked at my 11 year old and told him to take the costume off immediately, that she would not rent to him, myself, or anyone in my family. That I was to take that boy and get out of her shop. All this because I am now engaged to her ex- son-in-law. This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. Me and my son are in any part at fault for her daughter's divorce. I am appauled. I am writing an editorial in the local paper, emailing all my fellow teachers in the public schools from elementary to high school, as well as the college to let them know what kind of people own this shop. To hurt an 11 year old boy that was so excited. His project was to be done today. He is in all gifted programs, on the academic team, and a member in Duke's gifted program. Now he will have a zero. He had worked hard on his speech. To see his face when this cold cruel woman gruffly told him to take it off and get out was the most heart wrenching thing a Mom has ever had to see. At least it is the most I have seen as of yet. I can't think of a word that describes how low and cruel this woman is. Do not rent from them. If they decide not to like you, they also will take it out on your young children that are completely innocent. BOYCOTT THEM!!
