I have one business with the company over several years and obviously very pleased with their customer service. Their customer service is what its all about.

I have purchase a wood stove from Pine Lake Stoves. It is a beautiful stove at a great price and real value.

The installation was scheduled quickly. Quality product.

Recently, they re-installed my stove. Really quick response to my request.

Another service call required a stove pipe cleaning and tree trimming, Carl and Vinny, who are the company's certified and totally qualified technicians,

did a fine job with the cleaning and also the tree trimming to ensure 100 percent safety.

Overall, I have been completely satisfied with their fine service and will continue to do business with them.

They come very highly recommended - Five Stars out of Five !!

The entire experience at Pine Lake stoves was excellent. A great showroom with lots of options in the Adirondack style. Dominic was attentive and knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. Carl and Vinny did an excellent installation. We are confident in the quality and safety of the installed wood insert.

My experience began with Dominic coming to my home and walking me through my options. He was honest and extremely knowledgeable, taking a few hours to explain what I would ultimately end up with. After discussing many different options in detail, he was able to understand what I was looking for and recommend the best option for the look I was going for and heating needs of the house.

Upon scheduling the install at the coldest time of the year so that the other contractors working on my home could have heat although poor Carl would not, we discovered that the narrow “path” that was shoveled at my home in preparation for the stove would not support getting the 600 pound cast iron stove into the house. Since it was impossible to get a snow plow service immediately dispatched, Carl and Dominic drove all the way back to the store and found a snow plow to drive back to the house AFTER HOURS (note that the snow was extremely high). They personally cleared a drive to get the box truck to the house and installed the stove in the nighttime.

For the install itself, I wanted a fireplace “look,” so they installed an insert to new construction and built the fireproofing around it to support it. They also completely insulated the entire area around the insert.

I am actually completely surprised at this level of service, and so very grateful to have contracted with this company. I even contacted Dominic to ask where I could send a token of thanks, and he actually asked that instead of that to simply write an honest review on social media.

I simply cannot recommend these gentlemen enough. Please understand that in my mind, the strength of your franchise exists entirely because of Dominic and Carl and their commitment to their clients.

I look forward to begin using the stove!

Do not buy from Pine Lake Stoves!
Bought a pellet insert years ago from them. Everything was fine.
Under new ownership now.

Switched to a gas insert and wanted it hooked up before Christmas.
I told the installer that they had to stub it outside or my gas company would not hook up their gas lines.
Cocky Installer #1 refused to send a line outside!
It took 3 trips from Pine Lake to get it close to being acceptable.
I called and told them I did not want Sketchy Installer #2 in my house again.
They put bricks on my chimney to hold vent down instead of installing it properly.
The outside of my house looks like crap. And they bent the clean-out door on my chimney instead of drilling through it.

Stove didn't work until after New Years Day.

When you go to the store in caroga, turn around and walk right back out the door to your car and drive AWAY from this business. If you are smart.

Do NOT do business with Pine Lake. I bought a soapstone stove from them and they installed. The stove itself is good...the installation? Not to code and dangerous. When I called them to come clean it, they said they would be there at noon. By 4:30 I was still waiting for them to show. I called and cancelled the cleaning. It proved to be a blessing, for when I got someone else to come, they noticed that the stove pipe was loose and waving in the breeze above the roof line. I had to call another chimney specialist, have my contractor cut a hole in the side of the house in order see what was going on only to find that, not only hadn't they fastened the sections of pipe together, they cut a three foot section out of a supporting roof rafter and never boxed it in. To redistribute the load, so they left me without roof support. Not only that, nothing was to code. I'm lucky the snow load didn't bring the roof down. It is now going to cost me $950 to fix the damage and make things right. I am so lucky they didn't show for the cleaning, otherwise I would never have known the shoddy job they did and the problems they created. Problems that could have resulted in a major fire and/or structural failure of the roof. It was only a matter of time.

Pine lake stoves is a wonderful place to buy a stove for you home. They have the biggest selection available at reasonable prices. The staff is always pleasant and goes above and beyond to help their customers stay warm and happy with their stove. From wood, pellet, gas to electric, generators, propane, space heaters they have it all and if it's not in stock they can order it for you! Great location beautiful store! Home-y adirondack comfortable feel. Pleasant staff always willing to lend a helpin hand.( The old owner is not associated with this staff )

Absolutly without a doubt the worst service ever.When they finally did schedule me was told what was wrong and that they had the part in stock.Was an easy fix so I went to get the part and install it myself so as not to have another 3 week wait,Only to be given the wrong part which was used (that the woman insisted was the right one) The owner was there and gave me the right part but it was over 100.00 more that the price given to me on the phone.Told them forget it ordered it online and saved over 100.00 will never buy from them again!!!
