I went here looking for a simple appraisal for insurance reasons, and ended up getting a mini-lesson in chemical structures of gems, as well as a thorough report on the jewelry that could practically serve as a forensics investigation. I've studied chemistry for nearly a decade and he still had things to teach me. The best part was getting to watch him work- if you're interested at all in the process of appraisal, you'll learn a lot. The guy knows his stuff.

I had a fantastic experience at Quinn. He was very professional and led me through one of the toughest experiences a guy will have to go through... He helped me pick out my engagement ring. His knowledge of rings/diamonds allowed him to narrow down my search and ultimately helped me create a ring that is talked about daily. I went back for the wedding band and again he was amazingly helpful and we got exactly what we were looking for. I will and have recommended him to everyone I know.

Quinn is such a brilliant professional. I had no idea what was involved in being a gemologist, thought it was just a glorified jeweler. Quinn is a highly trained expert, and it shows in his appraisal reports. His office setting is welcoming and feels very secure. I will trust him explicitly in my future needs for his services or advice.

I would recommend using Mr. Quinn for your jewelry buying or selling needs. He is very knowledgeable about the true value of your piece. I had previously sent my diamond off to another jeweler but ended up selling it through Mr. Quinn for a higher price. His initial appraisal and grading were in line with the GIA lab that I ultimately sent the diamond to. He is responsive to his client's needs.
