Dr. Layman grew up in Decatur, a small town in northeastern Indiana. She received her bachelor's degree and her medical degree from Indiana University. She completed her pediatric residency at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Pediatric Care, Carmel Pavilion, Dr. Layman was a pediatrician in Marion, Indiana. She lives in Fishers with her husband and two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and IU basketball.
