The Pyrotek plant in Carlisle, Pa., offers a comprehensive range of high-temperature solutions. The plant's manufacturing competencies include high-volume, close-tolerance machining of graphite rings, calcium silicate, covered rolls for glass and machined caster tips. The Carlisle facility also serves as a Pyrotek regional office and as the North American distribution center for SNIF brand degassing equipment. It also houses the SNIF water model laboratory. Products produced in the Carlisle plant are distributed throughout the Eastern United States, Russia, Iceland and West Africa. Pyrotek is a global provider of high-temperature materials and technology solutions to the aluminum cast house industry. Pryotek was founded in 1956 and has more than 40 locations worldwide.
