My husband had a colonoscopy by this doctor. A day later my husband was in horrible pain. This doctor prescribed a stool sample test which was not authorized by our insurance without telling him it wasn't authorized, or even requesting authorization. Now we have an enormous bill over $600 because our insurance deemed this test "experimental". After repeated calls, this doctor refused to do anything to correct his mistake and the insurance won't cover it. This is robbery and it won't happen to us again. With all his years of experience I'd expect this doctor to know which procedures are proven and which are experimental. I don't trust doctors who rob my family.
