there are not enough words to describe the positive experiences I've had at modern auto air and transmission, I thought I have to go to 4 different places to get my car repaired the right way, Mike in the guys got my car repaired the correct way the first time, forever I will be a customer of model auto air and transmissions. My 1998 corolla my be not lasting that much longer, but whatever I need done to anything else I own, my only stop will be modern auto air in cape coral!

I would like to thank Mike & his staff at Modern Auto Air & Transmission. Our Dodge Grand Caravan transmission was downshifting hard, and they were able to flash the vehicle computer to reset it. This shop is great! Very honest, and trustworthy. They did not even charge me for this! We thought our transmission was going out, Modern Auto saved us a lot of money. I cannot say enough about this shop, they gained a customer for life. I highly recommend this shop for all of your vehicle needs! 5 star rating!

Told me I needed a fan and resister for my AC which they replaced for almost $400. One week later, it wasn't working. Then they said I needed a new harness at the tune of $350. Brought it elsewhere for a second opinion and they found a corroded wire which they replaced for $5. This is NOT where you want to bring your vehicle. They have no clue!

The owner is a moron, Said my AC control head wad bad so I purchased another. it was not the problem, that clown just cost me money then tells me to get F%^cked, This moron has no clue what he is doing so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, there is plenty of of servive shops available !

Big Shout Out To Mike. He gave me a little bill instead of a big one. I saw what I thought was transmission fluid dripping out of my car. So I took it into to his shop on Del Prado. He told me to go have some lunch and to come on back when I was done. When I came back from lunch Mike told me my cooling system had a small leak of a hard part that was up against the firewall. Any way what I thought was going to be at least a transmission remove put in a new gasket and have to put it back again turns into a simple part and $45.00 bill. Go See Mike and Modern Auto Air If You Like To Be Treated Fair and Square.

Mike and the Modern Auto Air And Transmission Repairs team worked tirelessly to resolve several issues with my car. They serviced the transmission, which it was in dire need of work. Transmissions, of course, are their specialty, but they also dealt with a rather elusive engine miss. Other items that definitely needed attention were discussed and decisions mutually made on what was best and most cost effective for our needs. Such as the passenger window, which I accidentally rolled up on my husband’s arm, when he was resting it on the ledge, which resulted in a rather ugly, screeching noise when it was going up or down! This really did need to be fixed! It is so much nicer without the noise, now! Mike also did many extras, too numerous to list, at low cost out of the goodness of his heart. This car is extremely complex to work on, which made it doubly challenging, but Mike and his crew never gave up my car.

I Took My '93 Toyota 4 runner in for transmission chatter and some really rough shifting. MAA&T were able to get my Toyota 4 runner in right away to replace the clutch. Only problem with my experience with Mike and his crew is I picked it up and the transmission was still making the same noise as before (clutch felt amazing though). After complaining about this to the Mike he immediately took it back again and figured out the truck needed a new shifter bushing and ended up replacing that part and only charge for the part and gave me his labor free. I'm so glad they were able to fix this so quickly and with these minor issues only. Would have been five stars if they caught the shifter bushing on the first try but I'm glad they fixed this in the end. Thanks Modern Auto Air. This was one of the best car repair experiences of many years. I took my car to this Modern Auto Air & Transmission in Cape Coral as my neighbor recommended it. It had a problem with the AC after starting the engine, the electronic fan clutch would not engage, causing the AC to overload and shut down. This is an inherent problem with the GM trucks, and there is a service bulletin. Mike was able to work the deal with the warranty where they paid the better part of an $800.00 repair bill (same at the dealer, I checked) It cost me far less, the problem is fixed and I drove away amazed that the whole experience was so smooth. I have to say that working with Mike at Modern Auto Air in Cape Coral was a breath of fresh air and deserves to be recommended. He was very patient with the warranty company, which was above what I expected. If you have an automotive air conditioning problem this is the place in Cape Coral.

Great Alternative to Big Name Repair Shop or Dealer. My daughter was in town from College. Her Saturn transmission barely made it back. She received a few quotes from a big name franchise transmission repair shops. Seems they would spend 5 minutes with the car and say 'you need a rebuild for $2500'. Mike down at Modern Auto Air and his transmission shop offered a refreshing alternative. They tried a free diagnostic, transmission fluid change also. Only after trying these options, did they repair the transmission. And oh yeah, they did not charge for the stuff that didn't fix it. Also, got my daughter got a warranty on the transmission repair. Meaning I can pass the car on to my child who’s up for college in just one year. Need any other reason to save money? Give Mike a try he good people. Thanks again.Jerry In Fort Myers

20 Dollars, 20 Dollar, Re-Charge.. What a kick of a commercial, that’s what, got me to try Modern Auto Air. Here’s why I became a customer. I came in for the Re-Charge and Mike the manager said he would have his guy’s take a look and see if the recharge would work, He said sometimes it does as the Freon just leaks out after several years, and sometimes it’s something else with the air conditioning unit, at any rate my 2005 Mazda after the inspection needed a new evaporator. Mike told me the cost and that he could have my Mazda fixed by close of business, I told him I wanted to check with my dealer so I did, needless to say I’m back at Modern Auto Air in Cape Coral and had them get the new evaporator and install it.. Mike was honest and up font my dealer confirmed he was, and was about half the cost. So yes I would for sure recommend Modern Auto Air if you need auto air conditioning service. John, Cape Coral

As a woman I was intimidated by having to get my transmission repair done. I did my homework, got referrals and ended up choosing Modern Auto Air & Transmission repair they have several years experience, people had excellent things to say about them and I just felt comfortable the minute I walked in the door. I liked knowing that the company that was issuing me a warranty had been there a long time and so had many of the guys that worked there. They were upfront with me from the beginning, they did not give some come-on low price to get me in the door and I really appreciated that. I was able to prepare myself financially and make an informed decision. I would highly suggest you give Modern Auto Air & Transmission Repair in Cape Coral a chance if you need a transmission repair. I found them to be honest and Mike is just a really nice guy..

My 1999 Toyota started to have a clucking sound, So I thought I give Modern Auto Air & Transmissions a call in Cape Coral. Mike ask if I would share my experience. Long story short the transmission was bad. Mike the manager took me out on a test drive and told me what he thought was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. The good thing was he was right, Modern Auto Air & Transmissions were less then they quoted the a day earlier. Would I recommend Modern Auto Air & Transmission to anyone who needs to get his or her transmission repaired I sure would. Give them a call.

I thought my 99 Toyota was going to need a new air conditioning unit. Took it down to Modern Auto Air on Del Prado just North Of Walmart. Mike gave me a twenty dollar Re-Charge two weeks ago and I'm still going cool. That's why the review,. I was towed to modern auto air because my transmission just stopped working on I-75.It is a mustang gt with 98k miles and the tow truck driver referred me to mike at modern.Make a long story short im in college and dont have alot of money but when all was done,Mike rebuilt my transmission and even let me keep it there for a couple of extra days and no problems,fair price,and my car has never been bettter.THANKS MIKE AND THE TEAM.

Hey Mike I know we went a few rounds and unfortunately there was some miscomunication.......mostly on your part......LOL. Thank you for refunding a portion of our money and doing the right thing..I am still a little upset, however the JEEP works great and I am greatful for that. Hey nobody likes to be hit with a large repair bill. Mike asks me to say something about my experience at his place. I need a new transmission for my 95 F150 dealer wanted $4,300.00, it's a 4X4 anyway mike found me one for less then half and he put it in. So far so good. Thanks Mike, Oh yea he fixed my wife’s car had a bad tire rod. All well there also.

Mike the owner of this establishment is running a scam business unlike any I've experienced before - I was told that I needed a $2400 complete transmission rebuild and allowed them to do so in order to fix a unique problem that I was experiencing. I picked the car up and the problem remained with the addition of a loud clicking sound that I was told by Mike himself that was a defective starter. I went home and replaced said starter and the sound remained - Returned to Mike and it turns out that his mechanic had shimmed the transmission improperly and it should be fine at this point. Untrue. The problem still remained. Gave the car back a third time and Mike assured me that he would handle the problem personally. I allowed him the opportunity to make his mistake right - He told me there were some errors in the reconstruction and should be fine. Untrue. Returned the vehicle for him to drive around and see if he could reproduce the problem
