We had a buyer hire greentree environmental to conduct a defective Chinese drywall inspection. The inspector was unprofessionally dressed in gym clothes, no uniform or company vehicle. He only used a method to test our home called PX-Ray Fluoroscopy Device?s (?XRF?) used to detect individual sheets of Chinese drywall, evidence found in federal court shows that this X-ray equipment has been ruled not reliable for detection of Chinese drywall by the courts.This link shows court documents stating these methods are unreliable and no longer approved since 3/2011. http://www.chinese-drywall.org/files/Judge-Rules-XRF-Testing-for-CDW-Not-Reliable.pdfNo other documentation or testing was conducted in our home; he did not observe copper in home or AC handler for corrosion. Also they charged $720 for this invalid inspection. They told our potential buyer that we had 1 piece of defective drywall in every room of the house, just 1 piece!We hired another inspection the following day by a reputable company who completed a thorough investigation on our home; utilizing valid methods. It was found that we had NON defective chinese drywall and ZERO signs of problems with copper, plumbing and AC handler, coils and motor parts. No smells and no sickness.We have lived in this home for 7 years with no problems. This company not only caused us a sale but has now tarnished the value of our home substantially! DO NOT HIRE OR ALLOW A BUYER TO USE THIS COMPANY!
