Our family has so much gratitiude for Randy and his training, we can not say enough! We added a new member to our family in the beginning of 2007, a purebred German Shepherd puppy named Samson. Although both my husband and I had both owned several dogs during our lives, we felt we wanted to get good training for our new member. While I was pregnant with our second daughter and knowing that Samson was predicted to grow to over 100lbs, we wanted to be able to KNOW with certainty that we could keep him under control. As a pup, he definately was out of control, chewing everything, not listening, and although we knew that it was typical behavior for his age, he was only a mere 15lbs...we did not want that type of behavior on a MUCH bigger scale. Randy came to out house and did an assessment, made suggestions of things we could do while he was very small, and then began his training when he was old enough. It was amazing how quickly the program worked! It was important to our family that we taught him in his own environment and something that was going to last. Even my 4 year old daughter began working the program, and very effectively!! It was also important to me knowing that I wouldn't need to worry that, with a newborn and a preschooler, the dog would still be well trained.
Fast forward to the present, I can take the girls for a walk, or even go running - knowing that Samson will stay right by my side. Another dog, a cat, or even an open trash can not pull him away - unless he's given permission. All of that - without him on a leash!!! Everywhere we go, people ask about our "well-behaved" Samson...and we are more than happy to tell them about Perfect Companion K-9 Training!!!
