I have been to two different A.S.S's and each one has wanted to over charge for brake work. The last one was the final straw. The A.S.S. in Canton wanted $300 to change the front brakes on a Jeep. This A.S.S. said the parts alone were $200. I went to auto zone and paid $130 for the same parts and did the brakes myself. Avoid the A.S.S. in Canton.

took my acura in for an oil change and was in and out in 30 mins! had an excellent experience with them and would def go back!

CUSTOMER BEWARE...This place may/may not be alright for Emission Testing, but I certainly will not recommend them for any type mechanic work. I went in for emission testing because they were convenient, and that test has a set price. Not only did I have to wait about an hour; they did not give me the paperwork I needed for the tag office; I had to go back and request it. Furthermore, on another occasion the mechanic tried to convince me I needed new motor mounts, etc. to solve a problem noticed when braking...totaling several hundred dollars. This didn't make sense to me. I took it to a smaller local repair shop, Tim's Auto Repair, (equipped with diagnostic equipment) and found the problem was a defective ABS sensor...The repair was done plus replacing a turn signal bulb. Total parts and labor $111. USASOUTH

I needed my oil changed. The person in charge came back and told me that a piece of metal had come off when removing the oil filter. When he took me to look at the problem, I didn't see one! He didn't have the "piece" that broke off. Then he told me it was a gasket problem and told me it would be $250.00 plus labor to fix that problem. (Later the dealer saw no problem).. I told them to just do the oil job, nothing else. They also told me that my tires were not balanced. I just had new tires put on the previous week. (I took it back to the tire service and the balance was just fine.) As a woman, I was very upset that someone would try to take advantage of me. As a consumer, I was fumed! I will never go back and would never recommend them to my anyone!
