I had several bad experiences with Pool Design that leads me to believe that they do not stand behind their own products. I had them install a new pool liner. After a few summers, the pattern began to rub off on the liner. It got to the point where about 50 percent of the liner had no pattern. It was just huge patches of plain background color. They admitted that they had “Never seen anything like it”, but told me to take it up with the manufacterer. I contacted Plastimade and they refused to do anything.

A few years later, I purchased a pool heater from Pool Design. They installed the heater. The next summer the burner kept extinguishing. They serviced it several times. The second summer, it would not stay lit. They sent service technicians out several times. It was not fixed. By the end of summer, they proclaimed that the heat exchanger was all gummed up because it had not been burning clean. They told me that I would have to replace the heater. They installed it. They serviced it. Now, it is ruined and I must pay for a new heater. Never again,

terrible experience from unreturned phone calls, lack of knowledge/answering questions with wrong answers, delivering & installing unit hours earlier when nobody was home. Issues with install that still are not resolved. Used a credit card without our authorization for final payment. Wish I would have read the city search negative reviews before hiring this company. This was a luxury project for us, and it certainly was not treated this way by pool design.
