Being a company who's primary function it is to drive my kids to and from school, you would think they would get it right every once in a great while. You would be wrong. Their pick-up and drop-off times are more of a general guideline as my son gets home anywhere between 2-3:00 PM. Getting your kids on a route can take anywhere between three days and two weeks depending on who you talk to but will actually take closer to a month. But, if your kid isn't at the curb the instant the driver pulls up, you can bet they'll be calling the wrong number within seconds to remind someone your kids don't live with how important it is to keep a schedule. Teacher inservice days are particularly tricky in a district where not all schools observe the same schedules. Then again, the teachers show up, the parents get their kids up, get them off to the bus stop, everyone shows up except the bus driver. You would think they would at least know what days they have to work. If I claimed I "didn't know" I was supposed to be at work, I would get fired. Too bad Canby can't do the same with this laughable excuse for a transportation company.
