My mom went for rehab after she had a knee replacement. I had called a month and a half earlier to insure she would receive a private room. Went we arrived they put her in a shared room that smelled like feces and was small and dirty. The sink was falling of wall and in her area she has a bed and night stand. The room was so small it was very uncomfortable. My mom never received breakfast or lunch. she was left in restroom and had to get her self back to her bed. He knee was not cleaned and padding was not covering her staples. This place was a nightmare for my mom. I called told them I was bringing her home. they said doc would be in to see her to get home care. hrs later someone else said doc would not be in til next day. i call social worker at mt Carmel east. they got my mom home care and all the equipment she needed with a nurse and therapy at home. I would never recommend this place for short or long term. I took my mom home within 24 hr. she is doing great now . Staff was not helpful. Asked the nurse about mom getting therapy 3x a day , he laughed and said maybe 2x. horrible place .
