This place is amazing. They have computerized targets that can be positioned at various distances by just touching a button. To enter the shooting range they have safety features such as double doors that can only have one door open at a time. The lighting is excellent and the staff members are very helpful. Experienced shooters and beginners will enjoy shooting at Copper Star.

Great Shooting range!!

I have been to dozens of top indoor and outdoor shooting ranges around the world, from Germany and South Africa to Colorodo and Arizona, and Copper Star has brought the best aspects of my favorite ranges together atone place.

First, their range uses the best target, lighting, positioning and related hardware and technologies available. I love being able to have my target automaticaaly move between different distances for static and dynamic shooting drills and related practice. Their digital control system allows you to dial in target distances that are accurate to the foot.

The facility itself is not only beautiful and comfortable for those waiting or shopping, but is in fact built like a high end hunting lodge, with great amenities and top quality acoustic insulation. Also, despite the current ammo shortage, they provide some of the most reasonable ammo prices around as part of accommodation to their shooters. They also have a couple very skilled and knowledgeable people running the show there-- and I am very critical when it comes to saying such things.

In addition, they keep the temperature, air quality and everything very comfortable and well ventilated, which is seldom the case with even the most popular indoor shooting centers around the country.

Finally, over the dozen or so times I have been the since they opened, their team has been the nicest, most accommodating and helpful group I have ever met. They are the exact opposite of the Range Nazi's that some places have. Not only are they nice, but they have jumped in to help carry things to my lane, held doors open for me and even come in to check to see if there was anything I needed or wanted. In fact, the way they handled the one major safety violation that I saw one of the times I was there was not only courteous, but was done in the nicest way I have ever seen that type of thing handled. They just treat their customers really well in general.

I have only found one other indoor range run as well, and that was a world-renowned center in Switzerland, and they charged the equivilent of $US 65/hour-- about 5-times the cost of Copper Star, and it didn't even offer all the things they do at CS, like automatic and advanced weaponry rentals, archery shooting, advanced skills training, etc.

So, I just wish that there were more places designed and run like Copper Star shooting range, and I hope more like it open around the world.
