BEWARE!!This place only got a one star because 0 stars is not an option...I am intown on business for the week and googled places around the Camp Hill Area to get some highlights and a trim as I normally go to a quite luxerious place where I am from and up pops this place. I read all the reviews and see all the rewards and publications this salon has been featured in and as money is not an issue I decided to treat myself so I called and made an appoinment for later that day. I arrive at the salon and everything was going smoothly as the girl introduced herself that would be cutting my hair and gave me a tour..while the decor, lighting, and atmosphere left something to be desired I decided not to be so judgemental. I showed the girl a picture of what I wanted which was a simple dark brown hair color with a FEW highlights caramel and a long layer...simple right?!!!! NO !!! While I sat there for over an hour and half in silence because the girl had a personality of a door knob I noticed an entire head of foil and what ensued was the worst haircut I have ever got with NO LAYERS and even worse the top of my head and majority of my hair bright BLONDE!!! I am a brunette and have always been and it looked hideous!!! They tried to get me to come back at a later date to have it fixed and as I am busy here the rest of the week I refused and while still being friendly asked for simply more brown to be added. I guess the manager was too busy to DO HER JOB as a MANAGER because she didnt even bother to consult with me and the stylist before the brown was added to ensure it was being done CORRECT the SECOND time so the brown additions were added to my hair. After inquiring as to why the manager could care less to the stylist next to me she finally comes over and is very RUDE demeanored acting as if it is my fault and she doesnt see what the big deal is. Finally the brown is done and I reveal that it still looks like CRAP!!! I am so eager to leave this terrible place that I with my hair soaking wet get up out of the chair and proceed to the counter ready to pay something for their time and am told THAT WILL BE 150.00$$$ This is where things got interesting I said I will not pay that amount of money until I come back and actually get what I had asked for in the first place or something very close to it as it is a very reasonable request. The girl at the front desk goes and talks to the manager and says its ok just go!!!!! LOL I have never seen such a LACK of PROFESSIONALISM in any salon and especially for those prices ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! Please read this and take this as a warning you are better off going to a MASTERCUTS or SUPERCUTS for christs sake for 1/3rd the cost...I am sure the end result there would actually be better and you would be treated MUCH BETTER. I am convinced that the tattood and blue haired employees of this establishment wrote all the positive reviews you see here because no SANE individual could actually enjoy the experience here!

I went to get my haircut by a very nice stylist and she did a good job. I figure since I'm paying 60 bucks for a haircut you would deliver. I wanted it very short in the back and long in front. I liked it when I left but as I was styling it the next few days it wasn't short in the back at all. I went in 10 days later and asked for someone to correct it. No shampoo or style just fix it. The front desk was so eager to be nasty and told me sorry you can only come in within 7 days otherwise too bad and I would have to pay full price haircut and no one can help me anyways today. I called back to speak with a manager and front desk girl said sorry she's busy she'll call you back tonite or tomorrow. Wow dont waste your time.

really listened, put me at ease!

New to the area, I found this salon on line. I called to arrange an appointment, the receptionist asked appropriate questions about my hair (short or long, fine or course, straight or durly,...) before selecting the best stylist for me. The salon is beautiful and has a very nice waiting area with coffee and soft drinks. The receptionist greeted me by name (a Friday morning and nobody else in the waiting room). The stylist came out within a minute and also greeted me by name. I was very impressed that she gave me a tour of the salon, explaining what services they offer and showing where products are, and briefly explaining discounts on products. Alexandra spent at least 10 minutes discussing what my hair routine is andgetting information to make her recommendations for how to cut and style my hair. She did a fantastic job and made sure to do a basic style that I can replicate at home with the tools that I already have. How can you go wrong with such service and personal attention. So glad I found a place that I can be happy! Next time I'll come earlier to enjoy the waiting room! I recommend that you expand your services to include nails and massages etc.

A GREAT Salon

I am always satisfied with Franklyn Studio. The stylists are talented and professional. I like to change my hair often so the fact that the stylists are so up to date with the newest trends and newest products is a huge plus for me. The health of my hair is a top priority to them and this is what allows me to achieve the "salon style" in between appointments. The customer service is fabulous. Top notch from the moment I walk in the door to the end of the appointment.

Simply Great!!

I have been going to Franklyn Studio for years, but two years ago my stylist retired. The thought of changing was a bit overwhelming. It didn't take to long for me to realize that my stylist was taking careful steps in chosing the right stylist for me so as to continue at Franklyn, one who could meet my needs and certainly exemplified the same service and approach as what I had been accustom to for years. One thing new, my new stylist made a great suggestion last year to tone down the grey in my hair and ever since my colleages have been commenting as to what am I doing that makes me look healthier... it must be the hair!!

My hair is the best ever!!

I was looking for a new stylist and glad I went to Franklyn. The stylist they recommended listened, understood my needs and now I have a great new look, not worried by the summer humidity because my stylist recommended this great product called Morracan Oil and it has totally changed how my hair responds to the weather. Loving it totally!!

A BIG RIP OFF

The people that work there are so enexperience. I went there to have my hair done i just wanted a trim and the girl just kept cutting hair my hair til where a had sort hair when i left. Over priced DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!
