Founded in 1866, Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology is one of the oldest museums in the world. The museum houses records of human cultural history in the Western Hemisphere. Based in Cambridge, Mass., it engages in anthropological discourse through exhibitions, workshops, symposia and publications.
