I rented an "apartment" about 1 month ago and the next day I called the manager to report some issues/problems to be fixed. I was shown an "apartment" that was supposed to be similar to the one I was getting, yet mine was about 1/3 smaller. During the interview, his wife told me there was "No cockroach infestation," yet the place is crawling with them. When I called about the state of the air conditioner and the filthiness of the filters, the manager told me to shake out the filters. The problem does not stop there, as the whole unit is covered with dirt, lint, dust, hair, and other disgusting things.
