They stay current with their medical treatment facility. I really enjoy their staff and their protocol. I am fully aware of the financial decisions that are made and I feel they do not speak over my head. They love my baby as much as I do!

My family and I moved to Calera around 8 months ago and needed to find a veterinarian that was in the area. We found Calera Animal Hospital after doing an internet search and decided to take our little guy in for his shots and a check up. The facility is clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Everyone just made our visit very pleasant and relaxing.

Excellent Communication and they gave me samples along with my puppy samples. THANK YOU.

Do not take your animals here I repeat do not take your animals here I've heard some very interesting things about the receptionist that works there and me and 4 other people are going to make sure that it gets out that this is not a good place to take your animals

Love calera animal hospital. They are extremely understanding to my worrisome way. I have five dogs and the all have came here.extremely kind, and have always taken great care of my fur babies.

CAH truly cares about our pets. They are very easy to work with and we always feel welcome. Would recommend their services to all my family and friends.

I have taken my foster cats here for a couple of years and have always received the best service. The pricing for their care and expertise is very affordable. I live in Pelham and pass several clinics just to use Calera. They are the best!

I love this hospital! They are always busy and yet take the time to educate and make me feel very special. My dog Spencer loves the Vet and enjoys the treats the give after vaccinations. I learned more from this place than I did any other.

My family used this vet for years... When it was under the old owner (who was amazing) and we continued to use it even after it changed over and we had no problem until it was a visit for something other than an annual. Had two emergencies with two different pets and each time she failed to listen to us as the owners and caused our pets more pain for her own curiosity (dog had two front broken legs and she wanted to know if it could walk) and then once she sent us to a specialist (after taking her own extays) and told us another puppy had a broken hip...after we waited there for two hours in her clientless lobby. The specialist took one look at our dog and her xrays and told us he didn't know what she was talking about.
Also she keeps her own personal pets at the clinic... These little terriers live their lives in one of the back kennels and get taken out just like regular patients.

If you love your pets this is not the place to take them! From the staff to Dr. Ellison it was nothing but a total nightmare. This is the most unprofessional, rude, and incompetent veterinarian I have ever met. Please if you care about your pets don't take them to Calera Animal Hospital. We were treated rudely from the staff and Dr. Ellison was extremely unprofessional. I have never written a review on anyone for any reason, however I would want to know before taking my pet to someone as incompetent as this veterinarian and her staff.
