I have been a customer of Van Duren Insurance since I moved to West Michigan in 2013. I couldn't be happier with the pricing and policy I get from this agency. They are second to none in that regard, which is of course great. I have no idea why anyone would want to do business with any agency that is not an independent privately-owned agency. Why would you go with a big name like Allstate or State Farm when you can not only help small business and keep your money local, but also have several companies working in competition with each other for the best rate for you? VanDuren Insurance comes in with better rates than all the other companies because they work with lots of them! The agents work like little detectives scouring their companies' rates for the best rate for you. With all that being true comes the time to select which independent agency is the best one out there and this is where VanDuren Insurance really breaks away from the competition. Chuck and his staff are the most patient and helpful people in the business. Most of the time when I need a policy change I just send an email and it is all set and done before my day at work is over. They are also proactive in continuing to provide the best rates. Last year the company I was with through VanDuren Insurance raised their rates, and instead of just letting that happen and just allowing my price to go up over night, they emailed me with 1.) The info about the increase, 2.) an already pre-rated policy for another company they work with that was lower, and 3.) All of the paperwork I needed to sign to switch over to the new company without having a lapse or a rate increase. Now THAT is how you run a successful business!
