Buddingh Weeder Co. was founded around 1950 by Case Buddingh and JG Sarver. From the start their goal has been to develop machinery to reduce the labor hours required to grow produce and nursery stock. Over the years many different machines were designed and manufactured. Two designs have withstood the test of time ,the basket weeder and the rubber finger weeder. Both of these machines are still available,60 years later and still made in Dutton Michigan. The new machines are stronger and have more steel on them than the ones made years ago, however we still receive an occasional parts order for machines from the late 50's
