Schneiders installed the wrong size ac/heat pump unit in my home. They gave me a 2.5 ton unit instead of a 3 ton unit. They never measured my home's square footage and they downgraded me from my previous 3 ton unit to a 2.5 unit. Schneiders admitted they installed the wrong sized unit and said they were going to give me a credit and that they would install the correct sized unit. However, they delayed the installation of the correct sized unit for weeks and instead visited my house an additional 4-6 times to check my airflow, ventilation, and everything else under the moon even though they ADMITTED in writing that they installed the wrong sized unit. When they were supposed to come and install the correct sized unit they cancelled 13 hours prior and I missed work for their appointment. So now I have the wrong sized unit, I have missed work wages, and I have a sky high electric bill from my too small unit running constantly. Schneiders is refusing to own up to their mistake and to install the correct unit. While this was going on my basement flooded from what we believe was my Culligan water system tubes being stuffed too far down in my floor drain, which so happened to be moved by the Schneiders tech. My family ate the cost for carpet replacement and clean up. But Schneiders is still refusing to come out to my house because they feel uncomfortable because I accused their tech of shoving the tubes to far down in the drain. GIVE ME A BREAK!!

My furnace quit working 2 days after I brought my newborn home from the hospital and they had a tech out within a few hours and got the furnace running immediately. I also had a micropower guard air cleaner installed and it has helped tremendously with my allergies and asthma!

Horrible!

Had Schneiders come and fix our furnace. A few months later it goes out. Call and they said "sure we can send someone out to look at it!" We asked if there would b a charge for someone to come out. They said no. Someone will come out and look and if its our fault that its not working from previous work then we will fix it and if it isn't then there would b a charge to fix it. All we needed was our pilot light lit due to then putting a new system in it and never showing us how to use it! Once they guy came he looked and wanted $100 to look at it. My husband called and they said they recorded the convo and they never said it was free and once my husband asked to hear it back, they said well u won't get charged for this person to come out but he isn't gonna look at the furnace.. So it's winter I have a 1 year old and no heat. The guy refused to show us how to light the pilot light and left us with no heat due to he expected $$ to even show up! So today, we got a bill in the mail to pay them $89!!! They said that they would not bill us due to the guy not doing anything! Very shady company and only care about $$$! They cared more about $ then showing a family how to light the new pilot light that they installed in the furnace. I will be sending that bill back in and it will say.. GO F URSELF!!
