We had a dining room table and chairs refinished that have been in the family for 2 generations. They did a great job and made it look like new again.

I called to have a recliner repaired - I told them all it needed were the springs replaced. My first appointment was a no show and when I called to see if they were going to make the appointment I was told that the scheduler had to leave and no one was able to help me. I would have thought that the office staff having to leave early would not affect pending appointments or at least someone in the company could have made a courtesy call to say that the appointment had to be cancelled. The rescheduled appointment resulted in the repairman telling me I needed the springs replace - which I had made clear when I called and not only could they not do the repair in my home it would take two weeks in the shop! When asked if the company actually made repairs in the home he said they refinished a table one time!The company is unprofessional and misrepresented it's services. I wish there was a zero star rating

Our family has inherited what we feel are priceless antiques. We have had Ackerman's restore numerous items for us, and are absolutely thrilled with their meticulous quality. (This was after we had a competitor of theirs "restore" (ruin) my great grandmothers bed.) Their prices were also very reasonable
