El Carpintero is authentic mexican food! My favorite is the shredded beef taco! Yummy!! They also have great chicken enchiladas!! Very friendly place as well.

BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD WE'VE EVER HAD.It may not look like much, & you could easily pass by in the blink of an eye but don't.El Carpintero is a quaint, charming, spot. Burbanks best-kept secret,nestled in a little strip mall across from the reknowned Warner Bros. Studio.Believe me when I say the authentic mexican food dished up by owner Hector is out of this world.Each dish is served steaming hot,arranged beautifully & tastes even better than it looks.Hector's exceptional culinary skills reminds one of Mom's comfort food.After the first bite you'll truly believe that the meal was made only for you.My husband & I love it so much that we asked Hector to cater our beach-themed wedding August 2007.Our guests devoured the party platters in record time.We are hooked for life & wanted to show our gratitude with this review.Don't forget to try the Chile Colorada (burrito or meal).It is to die for.Ola HectorWe Love U & Your Always Delectable Home Cooked MealsDes & MIke O'Neal
