The Olmsted Center for the Visually Impaired, formerly known as Blind Association of Western New York, is a nonprofit organization that serves blind and visually impaired individuals. The organization serves clients in their homes, schools and work places. Its Statler Center is a hospitality employment training program for visually and physically disabled people. The Olmsted Center for the Visually Impaired also operates Paul T. Bulger Vision Clinic, which treats vision loss and physical, cognitive and emotional issues related to visual impairment. The organization s preschool is a program for children with vision impairments and other disabilities. Founded in 1907, it is located in Buffalo, N.Y.
