Surgery for my pet and follow up treatment and rehab were great. Until a new 'vet' who was unresponsive, rude, unprofessional and unresponsive took over rehab. She did not have my dog's best interest at heart. She was caustic and uncaring, and egotistical about her 'treatment' which was ineffective. Prior to Lindsey Seilheimer a new 'vet' coming into that department I would have given this place a 5. She was not attuned to my pet's needs, was rude to and about others who worked in the department and dismissive of me and my questions, While asking her about my dog's treatment she walked out of the room. I asked her later why she left the conversation she informed me she didn't want to speak and my dog should find another place for treatment If she had been a doctor I would file a malpractice suit against her. She ruined this place and I won't back..

It is with great sorrow that I write this. We have used VSC five times and u have always given them the benefit - thinking they did the best for my beloved dogs. I know better now. My vet diagnosedour dig correctly. VSC couldn't figure it out themselves - for three days my baby went through being away from home with no progress in saving him. A diagnosis of textbook larngal paralysis; but no, despite numerous episodes while in their care they couldn't get it right. Insisting it was cardiac they suggested we transfer him to a cardiac specialty hospital. Upon arrival our baby had yet another episode of his body suffocating him; they immediately diagnosed him. This time was one too many and our precious family member had to be given over. Never, never trust these people with your pets! Looking back I realize my observations with our other dogs was not wrong. I knew it but trusted them again and now it's too late.

Way overpriced. They said our dog Wrigley was super sick, they stated an operation would cost $5000.00, and to stay the night would be $1500.00 a night.. We took Wrigley to another vet, operation would be $1200.00 and to spent the night $350.00.. Beware Beware of these people, toal ripoffs....

Find A Different Place! They've lost their focus on your pet - it's more about your money!!

We've had 3 separate experiences with Vet Specialty Center. The first was great back in 2004, but after our second in 2010 we vowed never to go back. Unfortunately for our dog, Mila, we went back on our own word and took her there recently. Do not take your pet here unless you want to risk their lives and pay thousands of dollars to do so. The problem with this business (and it is a business), is that they have great specialists which is what brings you there in the first place, but the support staff, ER staff, and even reception staff is for the most part awful. They lack compassion, knowledge, and their systems are not linked so if you have any complication from a surgery or working with a specialist and it's not during the time your vet is there, everything falls apart. No one knows your pet, their history, or honestly even seems like they care. Mila didn't make it and we miss her terribly. But that's not the reason for my rating - it's to send a message to VCS to improve!

Dont trust this place

They'll charge you rates for human care, and treat your pet like a piece of garbage. There are a lot of mixed reviews for this vet all over the web. Some people will have good days and other s bad, but why chance it? Unless you have no other options, go somewhere else. They overdosed my friends dog on anti-inflammatory medicine because they didnt even look at the chart before they gave the dog medicine. They'll take every dime they can from you to help pay for that new grass. Just look at the location and try and tell me you disagree. It takes big buck to run a place like this in that location. It should take big hearts too. I cant speak for ALL of the people that work there, but I can tell you my experience has left me with one goal. Warn everyone I can to find a better place for your pet!
