Manetek, Inc was incorporated in 1977. This facility was originally equipped and staffed to manufacture high volume, close tolerance parts for turbines. The effectiveness of our endeavor was illustrated when fourteen thousand ( 14, 000 ) investment castings, of a precipitation harding stainless steel, were machined, heat treated and finish ground in house with a rejection rate of less than 0.007% In adherence with our continuous quality improvement and commitment to excellence, we implemented the use of statistical process control at the work center level in 1984. In August 1987, our quality assurance system was approved to MIL-I-45208A by Boeing Aircraft Co. and in June 1994, our quality system was certified to ISO 9002 by ABS, Quality Evaluations, which is accredited by the RvC in Europe, INMETRO in Brazil and ANSI-RAB in the United States. Our Production Planning & Control Department utilizes our latest manufacturing information database system for scheduling of customer orders and status of their product during processing. This system also assists us in maintaining product identification and traceability from point of order through shipping.
