My son was very upset from a broken tooth and he felt that he needed to be seen as soon as possible. Dr. Capista told him he could wait, however my son felt he needed to be seen so badly that he started calling emergency dentist in the city to try to find someone who could look at it right away. I had not seen my son's tooth. So I was in no position to say that it could or couldn't wait two days. Dr. Capista did talk to my son directly but he as not reassuring at all. He was on-call, but was out of town and didn't want to have to drive back. It seemed he was more concerned about his drive back and not my son's tooth. So I was not confident of his reassurance that my son's tooth could wait. My son has Crohn's Disease that has adversely affected his teeth. My son was insisting it was so bad that he was going to go to some dentist that advertises on Billboards along I-95. So I judged it was serious enough, that he needed his dentist. So I asked Dr. Capista who was on-call to drive Back and see my son. He did but then was very unprofessional by complaining in front of my son while he was fixing his tooth. Don't use these dentists they're competent but not compassionate.

There really is a difference between dental practices! These guys are amazing....from the front desk staff to the dental assistants and hygienists, and of course, the doctors. They made me feel like a valued "guest" when I arrived and they really treat you like someone they really care about. The dental treatment is also outstanding; I had my work done in much less time than I expected, and it actually was a pleasant experience (not exactly what you traditionally think of when going to the dentist!) I can't recommend them any higher.
