P-C Industries, Inc began in 1997 when Phil Hetrick, owner of Byerly Tire and Appliance, while struggling to seat the bead of a tire that had recycled tire fill placed in the cavity, in preparation for foaming, wished for a better way to chunk. He was introduced to Chuck Shaffer, a project manager in charge of aftermarket components for the plastics extruder industry, by a mutual friend. During discussions about criteria for a solution to Phil's recycling problems, he held up an air valve and said, I'd really like to be able to recycle tire fill through this. Within several weeks Chuck came up with the basic concept of what is now the AutoFill Recycler system. From these humble beginnings P-C Industries, Inc has grown. In November of 2007 we sold the patents to the tire fill recycling technology to Urethane International, LLC. We are now custom machine builders and fabricators, building AutoFills and related equipment for Pathway Polymers, formerly Urethane International, as well as providing repair and fabrication services to our comunity and beyond. Our vision is to develop new products as well as serve industry at home and abroad as fabricators and machine builders.
