I have been a patient of Dr. Yelena Sokolova for 13 months. I arrived for my first visit with a very bad flare of the rheumatoid arthritis that was diagnosed to me two years before and I had just finished a chemotherapy treatment for an endometrial cancer that was diagnosed to me 7 months before. She didn't only treat my RA to the point that today I am practically symptom free but she also brought my body to normal levels after the chemotherapy had left it completely depleted of all vitamins and with very high levels of heavy metals. Her holistic approach is exactly what I was looking for. She is the most intelligent doctor I have ever met in my whole life and I am 56 years old. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't find her. She was a life saver. I travel one and a half hours from Uptown Manhattan to her office in Brooklyn and I would travel even longer if I had to now that I know her. Her knowledge has no limits, the time she gives each patient is unmatchable and her open-mindedness to my requests is unique. I would recommend her to anyone no matter what their health issues are. She is kind, dedicated, understanding and so intelligent! I love her. Every single staff member is very professional and very nice as well.

For you to really understand you need some background on me. I have severe psoriatic arthritis that I have been dealing with since I was 17 (33 now) and all other doctors just shove medications at me and tell me that there is nothing else to be done. Not Dr. Sokolova. She suggested diet changes, ordered thorough testing, and great advice. She checks my blood work every visit and will call me within the week to make changes to my medication or food intake that will help me. I have never felt so good. We are still working on my health, but with Dr.Solkolova on my side, I don't feel so helpless.
