I usually don't take time to give a review but I was impressed with the great customer service that I received today at a Touch of Glass. I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to replace a car window. The service I received met my expectation and the administration was professional and friendly. There was a little wait which I understood since there were customers ahead of me. I'm definitely a satisfied customer.

My windshield had to be replaced and the only reason I went with this place was because they were available to come the following day. Price wasn't relevant as this was covered by insurance.

They were so unprofessional that by the time the drivers actually got here to replace the windshield, I almost wanted to send them on their way. They were jerking me around all day with "driver will be there soon" without giving me any kind of a window on timing and when I finally got irritated and told them I need them to give me a time frame they told me "Listen, sweetheart, we've been doing this for many years and know what we are doing" - and then hung up on me!

On August 24th I took my car to Touch of Glass on 2732 Atlantic Avenue as it had pretty decent reviews and was close by. They didn't have the exact glass for my passenger side window but they ordered it and told me to bring it back the next day to replace the temp glass on my 2010 Kia, so I did. On August 25, I brought it in at 8:00am, missing time from work and waited two hours to get it replaced. The window worked well and I was rushed out as they had other customers, I left and didn't think nothing of being rushed out since I had to go to work. Later in the day I picked up my sister and when she tried to get out of the car she couldn't open the door. They had messed up my door lock and handle and now I had to go back, and waste another work day to go out of my way to get my door fixed because of the carelessness of this company. On August 26 I was told the workers who would fix my door were running late, with no defined arrival time I opted to leave my car in the shop and leave work early to pick up my car. When I picked up my car they had the nerve to ask me if I paid? I said I paid to get my window fixed two days ago but then your company damaged my car door. So no I don't have a receipt for my messed up door that could not open or close because someone did a horrible job at fixing my window, the lady who was at reception was decent and apologetic however her manager was an extremely rude person and yelled over me like a three year old having a tantrum "yeah we did a horrible job, a horrible job, a horrible job, get out of here lady. And I said I'll be glad to once my car is fully fixed, I grabbed my keys and left. The door worked fine but still my door rattles a bit but I refuse to go back there, the level of customer service by the manager felt like I was being disrespected and mocked for making the worst decision of brining my car window to get fixed there. This car window repair resulted in me losing out on money from work. So if you want to waste your time and money, experience awful customer service from a heavy set, tuepe wearing, had to many lasagna, rude and awful human being then this is the right place for you! I will take my business elsewhere! Zero stars!

This place is lucky to even get 1 star. from the moment I walked in this place on Tuesday I had a bad feeling. Everyone just stopped working and stared at me. I had to ask someone to help me. I should've known from that moment this was not a good idea but I'm a reasonable person and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I had them put tints on my brand new Honda windows. As soon as the guy was done I looked over his work and noticed the tinting was uneven and there where air bubbles and dirt particles In between the tint and glass everywhere and even found a scratch on one of my windows. He told me to come back the next day. When I did come the next day Wednesday, one of the other workers told me to come back Thursday because they were too busy...I came back Thursday and was told the gentleman was sick. At this point, I felt I was being brushed off and on top of that given attitude. I then requested a refund from the owner Mr Dilorenzo who rudely told me he never gives refunds! He did NOTHING to try to rectify the situation...ABSOLUTE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOLKS!

These guys replaced my windshield while I was visiting relatives, bad problem to have while away from home, I couldn't drive all the way back to NC with a busted windshield, it had to be done right and right away. The work was done quick, the price was competitive with the others in the area and they were recommended. The place has a very fast paced, no B.S. energy, in and out, quick and efficient. If you want to cuddle, you will need to go to a dealer or somewhere more expensive and get killed on price. The owner is a character, as some of the other reviews pointed out, but that's fine by me, I'm not there on a date, he's straight up, nice enough for the glass shop guy, not that I care and didn't waste my time.

I was driving back from a road trip when a stone flew up and hit my windshield. Thankfully I made it all the way home safely. I found touch of glass on the internet and decided to give them a try. I went the next morning bright and early and they took care of me 1, 2, 3. The two ladies in the office were very nice. The boss came in while I was there. He was a character and everyone laughed with him. Overall I was pleased with the service and work performed.

18 wheeler without mud flaps shot a piece of gravel out at my 2010 land rover range rover supercharged. When I brought it to the dealer I was angry to hear that Land Rover wanted $1400 to replace and my insurance was only willing to pay $800. Same price every dealer I called. Driving passed Touch of glass I decided to stop and get a quote. When the manger told me that he could have it done in 35 minutes & he spoke to my insurance & everything was taken care of, I asked him how much did I have to pay he said... NOTHING. Windshield is $700 covered by insurance & we personally guarantee it for 2yrs. I was happy. When they were done in 35 min I was ecstatic. Car was good as new. One other thing customer service was awesome while I waited I saw customer after customer coming to get there vehicles repaired after other local shops had sold them fAulty mirrors or used poorly installed glass. These guys were great. Even when some of the customers were just rude and angry for no reason. Definitely a good experience

Extremely bad business

Don't waist your time with this place. Their service is terrible. I went to get my mirror fixed for a crack and left with a broken motor. I was told that I'm not getting a replacement because the employee who broke my motor was on vacation. Yes I will not waist my time going to court for 30 bucks and 100 bucks for a new motor. So don't waist your time going there. They run a shabby business

RUN AWAY REALLY, REALLY, "SERIOUSLY" FAST!!! I had a windshield replaced by them because a car throw up a stone and cracked it. They had to reinstall the windshield 3 times. Twice it LEAKED! I haven't taken it through a carwash yet but if it leaks again WE ARE GOING TO COURT! Many of the other customers in their waiting room were there for the 2nd & 3rd time as well for their glass. Then to add insult to injury, they installed around my rear license plate "THEIR FRAME" touting their name and phone number....WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!!....and to boot, they didn't install the bottom 2 hex nuts around the license plate! I drove out this Christmas Saturday to Long Island and kept hearing this rattling noise and thought to myself "what did Touch of Glass do my car?". It wasn't until today when I was loading up the rear of my car that I saw their license plate frame around my license plate. I pulled over in Riverhead at Home Depot and pulled on the bottom of their frame and it came out. Those bastards not only installed their frame on my license plate "WITHOUT MY PERMISSION", but they took off the 2 hex nuts on the bottom of my license plate and "THAT WAS THE RATTLING NOISE" I was hearing. They have some nerve installing "anything" on my car without my permission. And doing even that poorly by stealing those 2 hex nuts. Cost me $13. at Home Depot buying an adjustable wrench and new hex nuts. RUN AWAY......RUN AWAY....Don't even consider these people for anything you need for your car.

Horrible Horrible service.... The same this happened to me like the other one star review. Got my windows tinted and they did a HORRIBLE job. I went back for them to fix it and the short loud guy who is either the manager or the owner or whatever couldn't care less... at one point of the conversation he even denying doing my tinting at all!!!! I had to show him a receipt to prove it!!! After that he said "Well, I guess you'll have to take me to small claims court buddy" and walked away.... I waited longer to talk to him and he just pretended I wasn't there.... While I waited I got to see him degrade and curse at his staff and fight with other customers..... how is this guy is buisness?????

Horrible customer service. Rude and abnoxious. Lies about price quotes and steal parts of the car. Will never recommand to anyone!
