I leased a copier for 39 months and about 24 months into the lease, my copy salesman said he could UPGRADE to save me money because my copier was being overworked. He placed a demo for two weeks then said he needed me to accept the new machine because his office needed paperwork. I did not read but it was a whole new lease for ANOTHER 39 months. My business fell on hard times and I defaulted with TGI's finance company, De Lage Landen. I tried to give copier back but they insisted that I pay $6200.00 for end of lease buy out plus $6000.00 for the rest of lease payments due. De Lage Landen sued me and was awarded a judgment of $18000.00 including attorney's fee. I wrote letters and called the TGI office in West Palm Beach and no one would help me negotiate with De Lage Landen. In the end, my business account was garnished $16,600.00 so now I cannot meet payroll for five employees nor pay my office rent due November 1st. TGI Office Automation should care more about their customers
