Matt, Superior's serviceman, asked a few questions and diagnosed the problem with our oven in a matter of seconds. The starter was defective. He had the oven in working order within 15 minutes of his arrival. The price was reasonable and Matt's demeanor professional. I placed a Superior sticker on the side of the fridge for future reference. The next time something goes awry with an appliance, I won't be calling anyone else.

Went with Superior Appliance in Brooklyn on the recommendation of Maytag USA to repair a freezer.

WHAT A MISTAKE!

Technician did not finish the job properly and had to return not to mention having done severe and costly damages to our hardwood floors despite warnings and offers of assistance. Dishonest company. Appalling service. Staff is indifferent and rude. Manager is unreachable and uncompromising.

Always late in arriving to appointments - same as seen in reviews below.

I have lived in New York my entire life and have NEVER had such a terrible customer service experience.

Use someone else - consider yourself warned.

Stay away from this company!!!. Paid them $80.92 toward a contract to repair my LG washer. I was told if it could not be repaired, I would be credited. Repairman came out told me drum was bad and he would order 2 in case one didn't work. They would be shipped to my home within a week and I should call to have repair done. After 2 weeks and no parts, I called...was bounced around and then told manager would resolve and contact me within week. That call never came so I called again. I was suddenly told by the woman that the manager said my unit could not be repaired. I requested my money back as was initially discussed and was told my deposit toward the contract was being converted to a diagnostic charge. Very unprofessional and dishonest. They told me to contact the manufacturer (LG) to get my money back. LG told me it was not their responsibility, they are not the company that took my money.
Dealing with my bank, refuse to donate my fixed income to a dishonest company.

WARNING: This company disguises itself under different addresses and variations of its name. They have an *F* RATING on the Better Business Bureau website. Please call 311 and ask to speak to a Consumer Affairs Representative if you feel you’ve been scammed by this company. You may also call any larger company (like Sears or GE) that referred you to them, and put in a complaint concerning that company’s service contract with “Superior Appliance Repair”. I paid $90 upfront for a service I never received. This company then switched their price quote and hiked the price up by $249 which didn’t include the $90 I paid for service I never received. At first, they offered me a bait and switch with a “reduced” $100 off, alongside a refund. However, when I told them I wanted the refund instead, they told me they would only “consider” giving me back my $90, if I took down my review on Yelp. Please research this company online, before using them. Many big name companies hire them as 3rd party Subcontractors.

My experience with Superior Appliance was 5 star. I'm a single female without a clue who to trust or what it should cost for appliance repair; Superior Appliance receives my highest praise. The fridge had been making a weird clicking sound and I was hoping it would "go away". Last week the fridge was no longer cooling and I had to make a quick decision. After reading a few reviews, crossed my fingers and called Superior. Alex was in my kitchen repairing the fridge the next day. It cost exactly what he quoted me on the phone the day before. He was on time, very polite and answered ALL my questions. I posted Superior's card in my condo building; when someone is this good at their job, they deserve the referrals! Excellent work!

I was referred by PC Richards to service my Kitchen Aid refrigerator. The woman on the phone who schedules the appointments is so unprofessional and rude. It's like she is too lazy to even open her mouth to speak. I immediately called PC Richards for another service company but they told me this was my only option. On the day of the appointment I missed the guys call and he left a message saying "well, looks like you're not home so call the office to reschedule". Apparently that's it. If you happen to miss his call you don't get a visit and you have to start over. I've never heard of a service call of any time where you don't get a "hey we will be there in 20 minutes" at the very least! Not to mention I had someone in my apt waiting for them. When I called to reschedule I got the same rude lazy woman on the phone and she told me he would "try" to come. I waited all day and they never showed.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Gave one star because zero stars isn't an option.

Worst experience ever. 5 stars I don't think so. Negative stars more like it. A service representative came to my home in July. He ordered the parts and the parts came in. I have been calling for the last 3 months to get my stove fixed. Their excuse is no service guy to come out. They should be ashamed of themselves. Horrible customer service.
