Steven B. Schwartzberg, M.D., is a board certified, fellowship-trained neurologist with a special qualification in child neurology. For over 30 years, he has treated children and infants with neurological problems at Healthcare Associates in Medicine, a division of Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialists Group. As a New York native, Dr. Schwartzberg graduated Cum Laude from New York University College of Arts and Sciences. From New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Schwartzberg earned his medical degree with Honors in Pharmacology and was awarded the Honors Program Research Fellowship 1979 - 1983. His internship and residency in Pediatrics were completed at the Albert Einstein Hospital Montefiore Medical Center. At SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Schwartzberg obtained sub-specialty training in Pediatric Neurology. Dr. Schwartzberg has authored peer reviewed publications internationally, with special attention to pediatric research. In conjunction with his tenure at HCA, Dr. Schwartzberg continues his role as assistant professor of clinical neurology at SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, where he mentors future pediatric neurologists.
