My company recently brought an apartment building in Brooklyn and tasked me with evaluating all the necessary upgrades to bring it up to code. One of the biggest items was a huge steel fire staircase in the back of the building which had to be 100 years old and was completely deteriorated and unsafe. After speaking to a few iron works companies a friend recommended Steel Masters. They came over and within 30 minutes assessed the situation and gave me a verbal estimate as well as a plan of action as not to get any further violations. Once we contracted them they handled everything from shop drawings, demolition to final painted installation and inspection. Pops handed me the keys to our deli this Christmas along with the responsibility of making all the repairs and updates to the building. I hired Steel Masters to install a metal spiral staircase. The customer service was very nice and helpful. It was our first time to have someone custom make a staircase in the house to replace the old one. We absolutely had no idea what to do and what information we needed to provide. They sent someone down to do measurement and all that stuff. The whole project went very good with this company. The installers were polite and paid attention to details. They kept the place very clean and cleaned up after the completion of work. The spiral stairs look awesome and exactly the way we want. Thank you guys.
